Bill Perkins, Marvel Director of Visual Development

Bill has worked on projects for Warner Bros, DreamWorks, and ILM, Walt Disney Feature Animation, Disneytoon Studios, Character Builders, Mass Media, Spark Unlimited, Ninth Ray, Sprite Entertainment, Paramount Pictures, Reel FX, Mooncrescent, and DNA Productions. Bill is currently the Director of Visual Development for Marvel Studios overseeing the visual development of their animated projects, and track leader of the Entertainment Art dept at the Art Center College of Design.

Larissa Marantz, Nickelodeon Character Designer and Illustrator

Larissa Marantz worked as a character designer on Nickelodeon's Rugrats and Rocket Power. She illustrated several books for Nickelodeon as well, including Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Wild Thornberrys. When she's not illustrating, Larissa teaches figure drawing to animation students.

George Pratt, Award-Winning Comic Book Visionary

Pratt's Wolverine: Netsuke limited series for Marvel won Pratt the 2003 Eisner Award for Best Painter/Multimedia Artist. His graphic novels, Enemy Ace: War Idyll, and Batman: Harvest Breed (DC) was nominated for multiple awards, including the Eisner Award.

What is included in your subscription depends on the plan that you choose. In general, the Library plan offers all of our educational video content, Library+ includes access to our reference library, and Live includes access to interactive Live Classes as well as video Group Coaching. How does this sale work?

This offer allows you to sign up for an Annual Library, Library+, or Live subscription plan at a steep discount for your first year. You pay the discounted price today. When your plan renews a year from now, it will renew at its normal price. You can cancel before your plan automatically renews to avoid any additional charges.

Can I cancel/change my subscription before being charged full price?

Because this discount applies only to your first year, you may choose to cancel or change your subscription before your subscription's renewal date to avoid additional charges. You can cancel or downgrade your subscription at any time. If you need help with this, please contact us at info@nma.art.

Does this sale include monthly or legacy subscriptions?

The Memorial Day sale is only for the annual subscription plans listed above.

I just purchased an annual at regular price, can I get the sale?

If you recently purchased an annual subscription at normal price, you can still take advantage of this sale. The discount will apply to your next year. In this case, please contact us at info@nma.art after you complete your purchase so that we can get that set up properly for you.

Do I get instructor feedback?

Students can receive instructor critiques and feedback on their homework with Live Classes and Group coaching, only available through our Live Subscription Plan. All students can receive feedback on their work through the NMA Community Discord channel.

Do you offer certificates?

Yes! With NMA Live Classes, you have the option to complete all homework assignments to receive a certificate of completion. Live Classes are only available with a Live Subscription Plan. Click here to learn more.
